Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by two independent experts in the relevant field, who complete a standardised review form. The reviewers’ comments and recommendations are forwarded to the authors for further revisions.

The journal uses a double-blind peer-review system, meaning that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process.

Reviewers are requested to accept or decline the invitation to review within one week of receipt and to submit their evaluation within four weeks after acceptance.

The overall review process typically takes between two and three months, though in some cases it may take longer. Upon completion of the evaluation, authors are informed of the editorial decision, which may be: acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or rejection. The subject editor might request a second round of evaluation, if major changes are needed in the manuscript.

Upon completion of the peer-review process, authors are invited to address reviewers’ and editors’ comments as a condition for further consideration. Only manuscripts that receive final approval from the Editorial Board will be accepted for publication.
